On Friday 28th May 2010 Flautissimo embarked on their first tour. Ten members travelled up to Edinburgh where they participated in an aftenoon workshop with Ian Clarke, supported by Omni Music and The Wind Section. They performed in Canongate Kirk on the Royal Mile along with the workshop participants.

For Saturday 29th they travelled to Carluke for a concert with the the Preston Flute Group and the fascinating Carluke Primrose Orchestral Flutes a phenomenal group with five contra-bass flutes, G flutes and fifes.

Sunday 30th brought a trip to Biggar, with afternoon an performance at the Biggar Little festival, and an evening concert with the Scotish Borders flute choirs (Peebles and Kelso) and the Bromsgrove Preparatory School choir, also on tour in the area.

In addition to the musical fun members enjoyed a trip to Edinburgh Castle and some CĂ©ilidh dancing!
